Huffington Post features Eric Kramer’s ASLA Panel on Soils

The blog post, “Does Your Landscape Work?” by The Dirt’s editor Jared Green, highlights the importance of landscape commissioning, the topic of a panel moderated by Reed Hilderbrand Principal Eric Kramer at the 2015 ASLA Annual Meeting.

Kramer argues for an “industry-wide discussion,” to establish new performance standards that are continuously measured and verified over time. He uses Reed Hilderbrand’s work at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA, as a case study, where a commissioning agent helped fix reoccurring issues and effectively measure landscape performance.
