SUNY ESF Honors Gary Hilderbrand with Lifetime Achievement Award

Gary Hilderbrand has been named a Graduate of Distinction Lifetime Achievement honoree of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Gary, who received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Cum Laude from the University in 1979, was one of three Graduate of Distinction honorees recognized at the Winter Commencement ceremony on Friday, December 10, 2021.

In his speech to the graduates, Gary said, “I commend your many achievements, and I urge you to be thankful for your teachers. They are artists of the human mind and human spirit. Take that with you, and learn how to impart it to future students, however you can.”
