Christopher Murton
Chris grew up exploring the woods, sandy beaches, and rocky bluffs around his hometown of Portland, Maine. A sociology and anthropology major at Middlebury College, Chris pursued his MLA at the University of Texas at Austin and went on to work at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates and DWG. A member of Reed Hilderbrand since 2015, Chris manages the firm’s ongoing work at Harvard Business School, is project manager and designer for private residences in Houston, Texas and Wellesley, MA, and is steering the creation of an arboretum at a corporate campus in South Carolina. Outside of work, Chris is a proud owner of an excess of surfboards and wetsuits, having surfed all over the world in all kinds of conditions. He lives in Portland, Maine, and loves to spend time outdoors with his family.
